Our client is an Atlantic leader in the beverage alcohol industry, preparing to achieve their next level of success in the emerging recreational cannabis industry.

On behalf of our client, we are currently searching for a highly motivated and energetic Sales Representative to join their talented team! Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales, growth and market penetration of products on a part-time basis within the western Newfoundland region.

• Provide representation on behalf of the company as a manufacturers agent and product
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Establish and maintain a plan to identify and make contact with potential retail locations; follow-up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
• Develop and maintain sales materials and relay outstanding product knowledge
• Establish and maintain strong, current and potential client relationships
• Create brand awareness and community engagement within assigned western Newfoundland territory
• Manage all western Newfoundland account services; perform continuous follow-ups, maintain current and accurate records of sales and payment activities and complete personal quality standard checks on accounts
• Capture order information accurately and assist customers with inventory management strategies (ex. product placement and promotions)
• Collaborate with the General Manager to share major trends, review and plan sales activities and set sales goals
• Participate in tradeshows, sales meetings, and training to remain educated in company and industry development and trends
• Identify and resolve any client concerns that may arise
• Other duties as required

• Post-secondary education in business or marketing preferred
• Previous experience in sales (alcohol or tobacco industry considered a strong asset)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite programs including: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an energetic and outgoing personality
• Self-motivated and goal oriented with the ability to work with little to no supervision
• Must have a valid driver`s license and be comfortable with daily travel
• Must be of legal age (19 or over)
