On behalf of our client – Jump Recruitment Specialists is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Tenant Service Coordinator. This is a full-time position located in St. John’s.
A locally owned and operated company, part of a group of construction and real estate companies. They own and manage commercial real estate and provide property management services. Established in 2004, they have been working in St. John’s and the surrounding area ever since.
The Job
- Actively support an environment of teamwork. Co-operation, performance excellence and personal success
- Oversee general facility maintenance requests and contractors.
- Assist with contract negotiations and scope of work.
- Invoice review/approvals
- Provide day to day operational support
- Schedule and respond to maintenance queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve contractor disputes and ensure contractor performance.
- Deliver exceptional quality of service.
- Provide direction to vendors, tenants and other service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work, with minimal disruption.
- Schedule and manage repairs, maintenance and minor work, tracking to completion.
- Work closely with Property Manager on building maintenance requests and timely completion.
- Maintain emergency response plans including evacuation, implementation of after-hours emergency response, and environmental health and safety.
- Ensure safe work procedures are being followed and enforce health and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Certification by BOMI is considered an asset.
- 3-5 years prior experience in property management, facilities, hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Self starter with ability to make sound decisions and carry out duties with minimal direction.
- Strong time management skills
- Service oriented and professional attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines, resolve conflicts and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Self-motivated; energetic and confident
- Strong computer skills required. Willing to new learn new platforms
