Our client is a primary wholesale distributor of high-quality protein and other prepared food products to the grocery and food service sectors in Newfoundland & Labrador. They are seeking a Sales Representative!
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Representative will become a Business Partner by anticipating customer needs and taking a proactive approach with sales. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure a detailed plan is created to target all customers in the respective region and provide end to end solutions to those customers.
The Sales Representative will develop detailed knowledge of the company’s products and inform customers of new products that would enhance their business. The individual will maintain and grow existing customer base by promoting the full range of products, expanding customer portfolio and increasing sales volume with existing customers, as well as determining a new customer sales strategy and identifying and acting on sales and new growth opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Experience managing the expectations that arise during a customer/sales relationship, along with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are key to success in this role. You possess proven ability to carefully plan project activity and work independently, demonstrating efficient territory self-management, priority setting, requests and allocation of company resources. Working knowledge of Syspro and strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office is essential. With exceptional communication and presentation skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. A valid driver license and own vehicle for travel is required.
