Branch Manager, Children’s Education Funds Inc

Jump Recruitment is currently seeking candidates for the position of Branch Manager on behalf of our client, the Children’s Education Funds Inc. (CEFI). The Branch Manager is entrepreneurial and will run a home-based branch office. The Branch Manager is responsible for supervision, new sales and expansion within the province.

About the Company:

Children’s Education Funds Inc. has been assisting families across Canada save for post-secondary education since 1991. CEFI administers three different RESP options, each with different preferences and features. Our dealing representatives are trained to help families identify which RESP might best suit their goals. All our RESPs enable eligible families to access RESP-specific government grants. Plus, contributions into our RESPs earn Airmiles Reward Miles ®. CEFI believes in the value of the post-secondary education and for the past 30 years, we have helped thousands of families Nurture the Dream of a post-secondary education.

  • Competitive Compensation – base salary and variable compensation/commission, ability to participate in exciting incentive programs, established client base, eligible to participate in corporate.

The Role:


  • Facilitating the training of all new dealing representatives.
  • Reviewing subscription applications for suitability, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Promoting the professional development of dealing representatives.
  • Personal sales.
  • Running your home-based branch office.
  • Assisting with follow-up and servicing customers.
  • Operations Training for DRs through branch sessions, formal and informal meetings, and day-to-day interaction.


  • Post-Secondary Education or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience.
  • Previous sales experience at an intermediate to senior level.
  • Previous experience in insurance sales would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and oral.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing demanding situations.
  • Self-motivated, target driven and believes in delivering on quality to our customers.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building abilities.
  • Highly disciplined, with excellent time management & organizational skills.
