Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Platinum Parking in search of a full-time permanent Accounting Clerk. This position is available as the team is growing!

Reporting to the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to the growing Accounting team. You will thrive in a fast- paced environment where you can immerse yourself in learning and growing as an Accountant. Platinum Parking is a subsidiary company of Robbins Parking Service Ltd. based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (Robbins). Robbins started business in 1967 and has grown to manage over 250 surface parking facilities, garages, and on-street parking operations with gross revenues in excess of $30 mil per year.

 The Job

  • Conduct bank reconciliations utilizing Excel
  • Prepare internal and external monthly reporting packages
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations
  • Provide administrative support for bi-weekly payroll
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • A 3 year accounting program or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced proficiency of Excel
  • Detail oriented, autonomous and organized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
  • Ability to work in a constant changing environment
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
