Our client, a successful dance school and retail store, is currently seeking a Business Office Manager with a strong background in retail, to manage the daily operations of both their dance school and store, seasonally from September to May.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum productivity
• Operate and utilize Studio Director software
• Supervise, delegate and complete scheduling for part-time employees
• Manage customer service inquiries; be familiar with company policies to effectively address and answer any questions, email or phone inquiries
• Ability to implement and manage inventory control system; complete orders, maintain stock and ensure product list on company website is consistently updated for viewing
• Maintain effective working relationships with partners, vendors and suppliers
• Produce monthly sales reports; attend monthly meetings and provide updates
• Register members for classes; collect payments and ensure accounts remain up-to-date and in good standing
• Manage social media platforms and assist with promotion of business and retail division
• Assist with recital preparation as needed

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration preferred
• Experience in dance and retail industry preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting
• Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to organize, prioritize and meet specific deadlines
• Outstanding leadership skills with the proven ability to manage employees
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs
